This is a genealogical website about the Brinkman family.
The first known document about this family is a tax document from 1568. It states that a Herman upn Brinke has started a farm of appr. 18 Ha in the little village of Kemphausen near a town named Damme in Westfalia.

From there it is easy to follow the line to Bernardus Henricus Brink(c)man, who went to Wormerveer in the Netherlands around 1790, in the baptism, marriage and burial books of the De St Victor kerk in Damme
